Trick or Treat

The kids had a really good time trick or treating last night. They all got too much candy, but had tons of fun. As you can see, they were Hershey Kisses (thanks to Mammy). Jeb was an Almond, Autumn was a Dark, Casey was a Caramel, Josh was a Hug, Noah was an Almond, and Eli was a regular Kiss.

Summer Activities

We have had a busy summer. This is a "swim party" at my cousin Robyn's house after VBS one day. As you can see, everyone is having a good time.

Geoff and I took our boys to their first Major League baseball game this summer. Thanks to someone Geoff works with, we were able to go see the Texas Rangers. The boys had a great time and they had a huge fireworks display after the game.

The middle of August, Geoff and I went to Houston for the Texas Home School Convention. I think everyone had a good time and learned even more. We were able to take the boys to the Houston Zoo one day we were there. We all got in free, because we are members of the Abilene Zoo which is an AZA zoo. We have been able to get into free or pay 50% all over the country. It is a very good value, the family membership only cost $35.
